Last week I wrote a post about the Tots and Tunes class at the Farmington Library.
This week I wanted to let you know that you don’t just have to wait for a class to go for a visit. There are plenty of fun activities for the kids at the Main Library in Farmington, Connecticut.
As we walked in the door on a rainy and cold Friday morning, we were greeted by a fireplace and a snack area with coffee.
Bring your quarters with you because for just $1 you can treat yourself to a coffee from their yummy selection.
We then made our way into the children’s play area and Bruiser and Sparkles began to explore all of the fun waiting for them there.
Sparkles found a play house.
And Bruiser found a giant pile of stuffed animals.
There were your staples of train tables and activity tables.
There was a place for moms (and dads) to rest while keeping an eye on their little ones.
and a place for the little ones to cozy up with a book.
There were fish tanks, puppet stations, and many more areas to explore and be creative. We spent about an hour playing there (since we had already been there for the Tots and Tunes class) and had to drag the kids away from all the excitement so that we could go get a bite to eat.
We had a great time at the Farmington library and can’t wait for a trip back soon!
