I hope everyone had an enjoyable weekend this past weekend. I know many of you were celebrating Easter and/or Passover with family and friends. We had a nice relaxing Sunday ourselves. Bruiser and Sparkles got their first Easter basket and were excited to find their plastic eggs were filled with yogurt melts and puffs (it’s the little things when you are 15 months). I was happy that my neighbor was able to snap the cute family picture below.
As I’m sure you can notice, my tummy is definitely getting bigger. Baby girl is 23 weeks now and moving like crazy. Unfortunately baby girl is also giving her mommy and daddy a run for their money with doctor’s visits.
The plethora of doctor’s appointments has also put me a bit behind with my posting schedule. I was planning a fun post for today all about a new-to-me Connecticut library. Well, doesn’t look like I will finish in time. So, until I can get my post up, I thought I would do a quick list of some of the other fun Connecticut libraries Shawna and I have visited. Check these out and I promise I will get you information on my newest library adventure very soon.
First up, the Noah Webster Library in West Hartford. I spent a lot of time there when the twins were very young. I think I started going when they were about 4 or 5 months old. My favorite activities were taking them to the baby room and also attending the drop-in Babytime class.
Shawna also did a few posts on her neighborhood library in Glastonbury. She has information on the children’s section and also the very fun One is W-One-derful class.
We also made a visit to the Farmington library and played in their children’s section and attended their Tots and Tunes class.
Last, but not least, we visited the children’s section of the Avon library. This library is actually going through some additional renovations right now and will be closed until April 23rd. After it re-opens, you should definitely visit.

Hi there – it’s Julie from A Year With Mom and Dad – just stopping by to say hello and saw you were 23 weeks pregnant! I am 24 weeks! So funny we are expecting around the same time.
LOVE the libraries you mentioned – I have been to all of them myself, but not Farm/Avon with my 2yo son yet… LOVE the Noah Webster for some good playtime! 🙂
