Before we get wordless (well, at least a little less wordy than usual), don’t forget to check out our What to Expect Book Series GIVEAWAY! Think these books are just for the preggers ladies? Not so! This set comes with books on ‘what to expect’ for the first and second years of your baby’s life too. I don’t know about you, but I need all the help I can get 🙂
Now, back to our regular programming…
Last weekend we ventured over to Scott’s Orchard in Glastonbury to check out the Fall festivities. If you’ve been following us for some time, you may remember my post on Scott’s from last year (or more recently from our Top 10 Outings post). Since we live just up the road from this venue, we always make an annual visit in the Fall–usually more than once!
We love picking out our pumpkins from the wide variety of shapes and sizes. (This year the pricing is 49 cents per pound for regular pumpkins, 79 cents per pound for what I like to call the “designer” pumpkins in all those crazy shapes and colors, and $1.00-$1.50 each for assorted small gourds and pumpkins.)
Boo still adores the toddler-friendly hay maze.
This year we found a little fish pond too. That was a big hit!
There is so much more to do–like PYO apples, free face-painting, a wagon ride, a pumpkin bounce house, plus additional decorating accessories and plenty of goodies and sweet treats for sale in the store. But my favorite part is taking the annual picture of Boo in the pumpkin cut-out. What a difference a year makes 🙂
Happy Fall!
