Well it is turning out to be a Disney themed week here at Out and About Mom. Yesterday I posted about our stay at one of Disney World’s resorts, The Art of Animation and today I’m posting a few pictures from Disney on Ice.
You can never have enough of Disney, right?
Last weekend we enjoyed a fun OAAM outing at the XL Center to see Disney on Ice, Worlds of Fantasy.
Both Shawna and I were curious as to whether or not our 2-year-olds could sit through a two-hour show. Surprisingly, they did (though all the snacks I brought with me helped a bit too)!
If you are looking to take your family next year, here is a quick rundown on the show.
There are two parts to the show with an intermission in between. In total I think it lasted about 2 hours.
The first part started with Cars, then was followed by The Little Mermaid and Fairies (including Tinker Bell). The second part of the show was all about Toy Story and the whole show was hosted by Mickey, Minnie, Goofy, and Donald Duck. It was a lot of fun and I loved seeing how excited the kids were when each new character came out. The little kids behind us were yelling, “Woody” and “Buzz” like they were seeing rock stars.
Most of the time the twins sat on our laps during the show and Sweetheart stayed in her car seat which fit in the XL Center seats.
We had a great time and hope to be able to make this an annual tradition!
Thanks to the XL Center for providing us with complimentary admission to the Disney on Ice show. All opinions are 100% my own.

The day looked like a success!! My fiance and I were planning on going to the show, but didn’t end up going (we recently moved). We’re planning on going next year! 🙂

Hi!
What level seats were you sitting in? I am looking at getting lower level seats, but am wondering if they’re raised? I want the kids to be able to see!
Mandy says
Monica – Hi! I don’t remember 🙂 I just looked at the map and I think we were in section 120-123 about half way up.
