February school vacation will be here before you know it, and even those of us without school-age children are busy prepping our entertainment plan. Boo is enrolled in three classes right now–a library storytime class, a music class through our community center, and a playgroup at a private preschool–and NONE of them are meeting during the week of school break. Yikes! Time to start planning some fun activities to keep Boo busy (and me sane!).
If you’re in the same boat, perhaps you’re looking for a fun day trip to help break up the monotony of a week at home. Well, I just took Boo for a visit to the Providence Children’s Museum a few weeks ago, and I was really impressed with all the activities for preschool-age children. Here’s a snapshot of our adventure, but be sure to check back NEXT WEEK when I’ll give you the whole scoop 🙂
Day trips not your thing? We’ve still got you covered. Make sure to check out the Places We’ve Been page to peruse our entire list of outings. Searching for something specific? Check out our reviews of museums, indoor play places, libraries, or click on any one of the tags in the sidebar to quickly find the type of outing you’re looking for. You can also search by developmental stage: click here to see activities for crawlers and here to see activities for early walkers.
Happy planning!
