If you’ve read my recent posts, you may think that my life these days involves nothing but holiday related activities. While we have been busy hunting down some fun Holiday Happenings, my crew and I have also been out and about at our regular stomping grounds.
I thought I might share where we’ve been over the past week in the hopes that it might help with your holiday break activity planning!
Our first stop was a visit to the Lutz Children’s Museum in Manchester, Connecticut. This place is perfect for my little munchkins.
Then it was on to an afternoon play date at the cute library in Wethersfield. One of my favorite components of this outing was that I discovered a Panera Bread with a DRIVE THRU nearby. Dinner was easy that night 🙂 
On Saturday we made the snowy drive over to the Wadsworth Atheneum in Hartford to take part in their wonderful Second Saturdays Program. This program offers FREE entry into the museum from 10:00 am – 1:00 pm and the museum caters to families on that day. Normally I might feel crazy to be in a museum with three little kids, but at the Second Saturday events I feel right at home. There are crafts for the kids and a wonderful family atmosphere. If you haven’t been, definitely put their next event on January 11th on your calendar now.
And last, but certainly not least, we’ve been really enjoying all the snow piling up around town. The kids love playing in it and I love how tired they are for naps and bedtime! I hope it doesn’t all melt away before Christmas next week. It really puts me in the spirit of the holidays.
