You wouldn’t send your child to school without school supplies. So, why send them to school without having an eye examination?
Most kids do get some type of eye exam in school, but this is really a distance screening or vision testing. To diagnose issues with seeing well up close, a near-point vision screening is needed.
At 4D Vision Gym, an optometric vision training center in Cromwell CT, Dr. Juanita Collier MS OD and her staff show members how to utilize Vision Therapy to correct visual issues and make learning and playing easier and more fun. Using a wide array of non-invasive techniques and optometric tools, the 4D Vision Gym team helps patients overcome the visual barriers that impact their ability to do well in school, play sports, and perform everyday life activities. At the Q&A presentation on August 20 from 6 p.m. to 7 p.m., the Vision Therapy team from 4D Vision Gym will present on a topic related to Vision Therapy and how it can bridge the gap between vision, learning, and behavior. Children of all ages and parents will be able to participate in hands-on demonstrations of Vision Therapy exercises!
