So it’s the week before Thanksgiving and you know what that means. It means we’re hard at work on our 2017 Holiday Guide!
(What? You were expecting something about turkey? 🙂 )
But while Mandy is sifting through our favorite holiday activities and putting together our annual “to go” list, I thought it might be helpful to have a few easy ideas for making the most of that extra family time next week. Whether it’s reconnecting with your kiddos or entertaining out of town guests, we have so many ways to get “out and about” after all that turkey and mashed potatoes 🙂
Thanksgiving Break Outing Ideas
For example, you could head to one of the more than two dozen INDOOR PLAY AREAS we’ve reviewed for our Ultimate Guide to Indoor Play in Connecticut.
Rather be outside? Check out more than 40 playgrounds on our Big List of Connecticut Playgrounds.
Or enjoy a stroll, a hike or a bike ride on one of the OAAM-approved trails (yes, we’ve walked on them all).
Ready to get into the holiday spirit? Many of our favorite places to get artsy-craftsy offer special holiday-themed projects and workshops this time of year.
Looking for something more practical? We’ve even got some ideas on how to get a jump on all that holiday shopping at places that will actually be fun to take your kids. (Wait, what?!)
However you decide to spend your Turkey Day time, we hope you have a wonderful holiday with family and friends!
And we hope you know how thankful we are for all of you 🙂
Happy Thanksgiving, everyone!
