Today I’m reaching back into our archives to pull out another post that has been very popular over the years here at Out and About Mom. In fact, since Mandy first compiled our “Big List of Connecticut Playgrounds” back in 2015, this post has been viewed more than 33,000 times!
As the name implies, this is the post where we keep track of all the playgrounds we’ve visited since we started this blog back in 2011. So far, that’s nearly 50 playgrounds in more than 30 Connecticut towns!
This is a post you’ll want to bookmark and use again and again! (I know I do!)
If you haven’t browsed the post in a while, you’ll notice a few recent newcomers to our list: the amazing NEW Jonathan’s Dream in West Hartford, the recently renovated Charter Oak Park in Manchester, and the recently renovated Butternut Hollow Park in Middletown.
But we’ve also got a jungle in Hamden, a shady haven in Milford, a soaring tower in Woodbridge, a sea monster in Cromwell, a beach playscape in Clinton and so many more!
And although 50 playgrounds seems like a lot, we’re sure it’s only scratching the surface of what our Connecticut communities have to offer. So if you know of a playground that should be on our list, please let us know! Leave a comment on this post or send us an email to outandaboutmom@gmail.com.
See you out there!
