In case you haven’t heard, there’s a new dinosaur exhibit at Mystic Aquarium: Jurassic Giants.
Here’s a brief description of the exhibit from Mystic Aquarium’s website:
“Encounter breathing, clawing, roaring dinos that come to life! Travel back in time to discover 12 animatronic dinosaurs as you trek through an indoor dino trail. Your heart won’t stop racing with the anticipation of what’s to come as dinosaurs lurk around every corner. As you learn from their past, you’ll discover how to help protect the future.”
Sounds pretty neat, right? I hope we get a chance to visit soon!
In the meantime though, the news of the new exhibit got me thinking about all the other places we’ve had close encounters of the prehistoric kind. So I thought it’d be fun to put together a quick list of some of our favorite places in (and around) CT where dinos still rule.
