I am not exaggerating when I tell you that we have been trying to get to R&B Sports World in Winsted for years. Literally years. And if you don’t believe me, just ask our blogger Tiffany, who I think had come this close to arranging a visit–only to have COVID foil her plans (I mean, like what didn’t COVID foil??).
I can’t tell you how many readers have recommended we write a post about R&B Sports World. Maybe dozens! And I was beginning to worry that our readers might think we were ignoring them…
But this past spring, I was finally–finally!–able to get there with my crew.
R&B Sports World is located in Winsted, CT, which is in the Torrington vicinity. It is a family entertainment complex with indoor and outdoor activities including go carts, miniature golf, batting cages, a mini arcade and a 2,000 square foot indoor playground! Plus ice cream. So. Much. Ice cream 🙂
Indoor Playscape
Miniature Golf
Go Carts
Indoor Arcade Area
Did I mention the ice cream? 😉
With my current crew ranging in age from 5-12, I am always on the hunt for destinations that offer “something for everyone,” and R&B Sports World delivered! My youngest had a ball in the indoor playground (and made some new friends while she was there!) while my older boys enjoyed the freedom to try out the other activities at their own pace (everything is close together so no worries about getting separated for long).
If you’re looking for a fun place to hang with the family for an afternoon, this is a great choice. I knew our readers would never steer me wrong!
