Got an active toddler or preschooler? Well, we’ve found the perfect place to take them!
Have you been to the new Kidzone location in Manchester? It’s located in the Stop & Shop shopping plaza on Middle Turnpike West.
Finding the entrance is a little tricky because you actually have to drive around to the back of the shopping plaza. Look for the intersection of Middle Turnpike West and Green Manor Boulevard, then turn down Green Manor Boulevard and follow it around to the back of the building. You’ll find a large parking area and the Kidzone entrance.
Inside, you can proceed to the counter to purchase admission. There is a cubby area for coats and shoes. Restrooms (including baby changing station) and a drinking fountain are located down a hallway to your right as you enter the building.
One of the nice things about Kidzone is that it is always available for Open Play. Whereas many other inflatables places will only have limited times on weekends because of birthday parties, Kidzone always welcomes walkins. They also have special FREE open bounce times as well as a drop-off service.
I visited with my 6-year-old daughter a few weeks ago. My 10-year-old son was along for the ride, but he was really too advanced for this kind of play place– I say “advanced” because his physical skills are way beyond inflatables these days (he’s more of a wall-climbing/ninja course kind of kid now) and so he doesn’t find them so entertaining anymore. That doesn’t mean your 10-year-old won’t though. We all know our own kids best 🙂
Anyway, my 6-year-old made quick work of trying out all the inflatable options. She doesn’t waste any time!
There is a fully enclosed baby/toddler area as well.
Super cute party rooms too!
As you can (hopefully) see from these photos, Kidzone is basically one wide open space. This is great news for parents trying to keep tabs on multiple kiddos, as well as those who would just like to be able to sit down and relax (and maybe even, gasp, have a moment to socialize with friends?!).
If you’re looking for an impromptu playdate destination for your little bundles of energy, Kidzone is a great choice. Go ahead and send that group text now 🙂
